Pay it Forward Day is COAR's second annual event of the semester, where UMW students have the opportunity to engage in meaningful community service work that benefits the Fredericksburg community and supports the missions of local non-profits. Students are able to choose a community service project to participate in with one of the organizations COAR has partnered with for PIFD. Past projects have included river and community beautification projects, making meals for homeless shelters, sorting books for Fredericksburg's free mobile library, and gardening projects for local community gardens.
